2021 Barton College Football Schedule & Helmet Schedule Release

Thanks to Drew Johnson (@d_johnson13 on Twitter), The Bulldog Insiders presents the first Bulldog Helmet schedule for Bulldog Nation to download and print out so they can keep up with Bulldogs as the season progresses.

Barton College released their 2021 fall football schedule today (June 25), and even though it is going to be challenging, we know head coach Chip Hester, his staff, and the players will be ready for any challenge that they face.

Since the pandemic changed the 2020 season and ushered in a short spring season in 2021, the Bulldogs were limited in exposure to their (new) fellow SAC Conference members. That changes come this fall.

Barton opens the season at Truist Stadium versus Newberry (Sept. 4). They then take the road for three consecutive away games (Erskine, Catawba, Limestone) before returning home versus Carson Newman (Oct. 2).

The Bulldogs then make tracks again for a trip to Mars Hill (Oct. 9) and return to face Wingate for a second season in a row at Truist Stadium (Oct. 16). The Dawgs then head to Tennessee to take on the Pioneers of Tusculum University (Oct. 23) at Pioneer Field.

The Bulldogs will celebrate homecoming on the weekend of Oct. 30 with a matchup versus Bluefield State. This will be a prime opportunity for Barton Alumni to show up and cheer on their team as they reconnect over the weekend with former friends and classmates.

On Nov. 6, Lenoir-Rhyne will make their way to Wilson to see if they can survive The Dawg Pound. The team then wraps up the 2021 season on the road at UVA Wise (Nov. 3) in Wise, VA.

There will not be any bye weeks in the current schedule so the team will have to manage recovery and injuries the best they can as the season plays out.

Barton will travel roughly 1,754 miles for their six away games traveling to within NC, SC, TN, VA, and WV. That estimate obviously does not include bathroom and McDonald's stops along the way.

Let's make sure we bark loud and proud for our Bulldogs this season...IN PERSON!!!
